Today’s Photo Of The Day is “Mirror Pool Sunrise” by David Shield. Location: Sedona, Arizona.
“It took several attempts to get this shot, waiting for all the elements to come together; or at least as close as possible,” explains Shield. “After a considerable amount of rainfall, I hiked to this spot at sunrise for three mornings in a row. On the third morning, the wind was completely calm, and sunrise produced some pleasing light. I wanted to capture a different perspective than the usual composition shot here, so I set up in the middle of two of the pools, lowering my tripod to where the head was about six inches above the ground.
